I just had my bag stolen. This has put me in a rotten mood. It had my credit card, binder with roughs & refs in it for class projects, project briefs, student planner with all my dates (including when I work) in it, pantone markers, my metal ruler, xacto, glue, scissors (the kitchen sink) etc. etc. etc. Since I had a purse disappear 7 months ago, you think lightning would not strike twice, but there you go.

I parked the giant thing beside the mailbox at the print shop. I was quite a while waiting my turn, ran into a few snags, and when I went to get my bag from against the wall, there was nothing there.

When something important of yours disappears, it makes you crazy. You stare suspiciously at every shoulder bag that glides by, hoping against hope that yours will be the next one. You run around in circles, retracing your steps. Then you search the same places again. Then you search places it WOULDN'T be, in case you've just lost your mind along with your bag.

It hasn't been turned in yet, security and Campus Connections don't have it, so I have the sinking feeling I won't be seeing it again. I'm damned lucky my keys were in my coat pocket.
